Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementing and training software applications or modifications to existing software while establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors.


  • Role Specific Responsibilities
    • Provides application software development services and ongoing maintenance / technical support for electronic medical records typically in a defined project.
    • Responsible for conducting and facilitating the credentialed training program.
    • Responsible for maintaining the SIH Super User program.
    • Develops program logic for new application or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
    • Gathers requirements, designs applications, and documents detailed specifications to maintain and support electronic medical records applications and workflows.
    • Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and trains application components in the master training environment.
    • Validates and confirms new or changed functionalities to ensure customer specifications are met.
    • Contributes to process improvement.
    • Maintains system security ensuring patient confidentiality.
    • Liaise with customers, other IT staff and vendors for design, planning, implementation, training and problem resolution using effective communication and appropriate follow-up
    • Documents and maintains accurate records of work performed within the ITSM system.
    • Responsible for developing core curriculum training plans and materials.
    • Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in information technology, especially as pertains to healthcare.
    • Provides availability for at the elbow and "on-call" emergency solution support and other support duties as assigned by ITS Management.
    • Sets and maintains goals, timelines and commitments, demonstrating proven attention to detail and high level of organization and accuracy.




  • Associate’s degree required in Business, IT, Workforce Education or Healthcare Related field.
  • Bachelor’s  degree preferred


Licenses and Certification

  • Relevant job related certifications within 90 days of hire if applicable.


Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience:  One year of ITS and/or operations experience required. Two years of experience preferred.
  • Background in HR, Accounting or Materials Management preferred.

  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite, Service Now, Sharepoint is beneficial.
