This ITS Analyst position is joining a growing team supporting non-clinical applications including Microsoft Office 365 suite; including Outlook, Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Planner.  Applicants should have great interpersonal and analytical skills.  Previous experience delivering solutions to business needs using Office 365 tools is preferred.  The primary responsibility of this position is to work with business stakeholders, proposing solutions using existing tools, to increase adoption and efficiencies of these productivity tools, and supporting their use of them.  The position will initially focus on depoying MS Teams and Planner for a particular business use case across business and clinical functions


Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing software applications or modifications to existing software while establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.


Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Provides application software development services and ongoing maintenance / technical support for electronic medical records typically in a defined project.
  • Develops program logic for new application or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
  • Gathers requirements, designs applications, and documents detailed specifications to maintain and support electronic medical records applications.
  • Validates and confirms new or changed functionalities to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Maintains system security ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Designs, guilds, analyzes work flow and redesigns Epic clinical documentation applications.
  • Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and integrates application components.
  • Tests new and changed application functionalities.
  • Demonstrates ability to organize and lead meetings effectively.
  • May serve as manager on small projects.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
  • Contributes to process improvement.
  • Provides support to customers and coworkers for problems and issues reported through the IT Service Management system (ITSM).
  • Liaise with customers, other IT staff and vendors for design, planning, implementation and problem resolution using effective communication and appropriate follow-up
  • Documents and maintains accurate records of work performed within the ITSM system.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in information technology, especially as pertains to healthcare.
  • Provides availability for "on-call" emergency solution support and other after-hours support duties as assigned by ITS Management.
  • Sets and maintains goals, timelines and commitments, demonstrating proven attention to detail and high level of organization and accuracy.


  • Associate’s degree required in Business, IT, or Healthcare Related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Microsoft certification in servers or SharePoint preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Planner, SharePoint, and Cisco WebEx preferred
  • Technical Experience: One year of experience in IT and/or operations experience related to the position. Two years of experience preferred.
