$33.47/hr minimum - $50.21/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsible for providing nuclear medicine imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Safety
    • Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files, schedules, status changes, payroll and other documents as required.
  • Process Improvement
    • Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.
    • Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.
  • Role Specific Responsibilities
    • Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.
    • Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
    • Maintains equipment.
    • Ensures radioactive material is properly received, stored, inventoried and disposal.
    • Verifies patient information.
    • Lead: Coordinates duty assignments to nuclear medicine technologists.
    • Lead: Performs and maintains Nuclear Medicine Quality Control activities.
    • Lead: Serves as a Radiation Safety Officer.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine

 

Licenses and Certification

  • IEMA
  • ARRT or CNMT
  • BLS

 

Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience:  1 year
  • Lead: 5 years
