$16.54/hr minimum - $24.81/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsibilities

Position Summary

  • Responsible for providing administrative and analytical support essential to efficient organization of assigned department(s).

Job Roles

  • Safety
    • Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.
  • Process Improvement
    • Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department-based programs that support the system’s process improvement goals.
    • Actively participates in system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.
  • Role Specific Responsibilities
    • Assists Nurse Executive or Director in achieving strategic obejctives.
    • Assists Nurse Executive or Director in the development, monitoring, and analysis of financial performance.
    • Provides Executive or Director with presentation materials.
    • Coordinates Nurse Executive or Director’s reporting requirements. 
    • Coordinates & schedules all activities related to meetings, conferences, appointments, travel arrangements for Nurse Executive, Director, and service line leaders.
    • Deals discretely with sensitive, confidential information concerning professional affairs, personal performance of staff, and confidential information concerning the department, hospital and/or system affairs, the information contained in minutes, letters and other documents.
    • Establish, and maintain electronic filing system.
    • Prepares correspondence, memos, reports, minutes, agendas, etc.
    • Review and prioritize electronic and post office mail.
    • Assists in preparing and maintaining department budget and participates in day-to-day fiscal decisions.
    • Maintains departmental equipment and Orders supplies/materials as needed within the allotted budget.
    • Greets visitors, answers telephones, and relays messages to appropriate staff members.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associates Degree in business, office management, or 4 years equivalent experience.

Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience: 4 years experience working in a professional office environment.
