$/hr minimum - $/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

 

Responsible for continual functional, operational, content orientation training and education for employee(s) who perform Epic Revenue Cycle functions. Synchronizes regulatory, system innovation and stream-ling work processes, in tandem with certified curriculum plan is required. This position requires multiple Epic certifications in a cross functional role as a key member of the Revenue Cycle team.  Fundamentals proficiencies include On-going curriculum development, on-site education and training, and competency testing. Revenue Cycle Educator will report to various Director(s) of the Revenue Cycle.

Responsibilities

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Creates on-going curriculum development, Tip sheets, and competency assessments for training and education in various roles within the Revenue Cycle.
  • Develops process mapping and Visio(s) for current and future state design
  • Serves in an operational governance capacity to partner with Revenue Cycle & Innovation Technology regarding review of Nova Notes, training for Epic system upgrades, and departmental specific education.
  • Utilizes multiple methods of learning to secure performance improvements through focused training, creation of e-learning (recorded video sessions), and strategic initiatives throughout the System in an expedited and efficient manner.
  • Partner with various leaders to ensure quality reviews, mandatory learnings, and work queues are completed on an on-going basis within the first 90 days. May participate with leaders to provide information to support review period.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years direct experience required in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

Licenses and Certification

  • Relevant job-related certifications with Epic application certification within 1year of hire
  • Epic Certified Trainer within 6 months of hire

Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience: 5 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience required in lieu of bachelor degree.
  • Training Experience: 2 years Curriculum and Staff Development required
  • Must have effective working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications. 
  • Must communicate professionally and demonstrate effective interactions and positive interpersonal skills in dealing with health care professionals.
  • Ability to manage adult education session in an interactive mode exhibiting intellectual
  • knowledge, professional responses, and ad-hoc situational analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team; requiring minimal supervision, and strong work ethic. Consistently delivers result -oriented work.
