$29.18/hr minimum - $43.77/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

  • Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient

Record Keeping

  • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.

Process Improvement

  • Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Screens patients for determination of nutritional
  • Recommends supplements, advances diets and provides nutritional support to physicians/staff.
  • Consults with inpatients, family, physicians, nurses and staff, as appropriate, to provide nutrition education
  • Assesses and reassesses patients at nutritional risk and makes recommendations for nutrition therapy.
  • Develops or orders nutrition education materials for patients, employees and the community.
  • Reviews and revises modified diet information provided by Food & Nutrition Services.
  • Provides nutritional education to employees, outpatients and community members as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics

 Licenses and Certification

  • Registered Dietitian
  • License pending for student role
